8-Digit password updates procedures

1. Please ftp the latest firmware version from the ftp site and download to USB pen drive.

2. Please proceed with the firmware upgrade procedure by plugging the USB pen drive to the USB port of DVR, go to Menu->System->Upgrade.

3. Please verify if the firmware version were 2.5.0, then press “ENTER”.

4. Wait for 3 minutes or so for the completion of firmware upgrade follow-by DVR reboot

5. After reboot, select enter into “Menu” then select the password authentication submenu, enter “16888888” then “ENTER” for the authentication completion.

6. Go to Menu->System Recovery then “ENTER” for system reset.

7. After system reset, the preset password will be changed to “00000000” of 8-digit of “zero”.

How to restrict the backup data for up to 24-hr of validity only?

1. Go to Menu->Record Setup, move the mouse curser to “HDD FULL” selection, then select “1 day limit”.

2. The system will maintain the backup data for one day limit ONLY.
